I had players and WG made videos explaining angles. Because that mod tells you the angle of point of impact of main battery in relation to the target, but also your own ship's relative orientation. I can tell the angle of something without needing the mod is what I am saying. I'm not bad at it, but having a clearly defined transition between the target being just barely angled enough and not quite angled enough can be invaluable in terms of shot timing. It's nothing to do with geometry, and everything to do with how well you can estimate angles from a simulated 3D view on a 2D surface. In a right-angled triangle with sides that are 3,4, and 5, is the vertical side 3 or 4? The reason you didn't flunk geometry is because those parameters were provided for every question you had to answer. The mod doesn't do the geometry for you, merely tells you what the parameters are.
